What size lug nuts are on my 1969 Chrysler? 3/4? I need to buy a socket to get them off and I can’t figure out what size they are

My Escape had 3/4.
It also would be helpful to have measurements.

Get a 3/4 - 13/16 flip impact socket.

My 62 fury was 3/4

I’m 99.9% sure your car uses 3/4” acorn lug nuts.

My ‘73 has 13/16”, but I know they’re not stock. Stock might be the same size, or might be 3/4” like the rest of my vehicles.

Can you get one of these, or are the lugs too tight to use it?

I don’t know if they were still doing it in ‘69 but I know for a fact that, insane as it may sound, early ‘60s Chryslers has reverse thread lug nuts on one side, so if you turn to the left as the old rhyme* advises, you can heave and strain and twist but at best you’ll break the lug nut right off, as I did on my ‘62 Dart back in ‘75.

There is a good chance they are 3/4”. Pull up to your local parts store and tell them you need to check the socket size before you pay for it. They will probably be OK with that.
